  1. This file is presented here just as it was received from
  2. Finland.  There is a considerable amount of system-dependent
  3. code in it which would be better in a change file.  Also,
  4. it runs the LaserJet+ directly, rather than through the
  5. creation of an intermediate file.  But it is said to work,
  6. and that is better than we had before.

  8. It is bound to need substantial revision before it will
  9. work under 4.2/3 BSD Unix.  Ideally, this work should
  10. involve the elimination of the obvious system dependencies from
  11. the web file, and the creation of a proper change file.

  13. Also, it is probably preferable to create the usual sort of
  14. intermediate file, rather than to attempt to run the LaserJet
  15. as an online device.

  17. If you are in the mood to make the change from PXL to GF
  18. fonts, please do.   And let us know about it when you are
  19. satisfied with the results.
